Dan Candela and sons upgraded our residential electric service and did several other interior electrical jobs over the last 2 days. Dan was patient when I added tasks and when I changed my mind about some interior lighting. He and his 2 sons spotted some issues in our 1961 house that weren't safe or up to code and fixed them: electrical wires too close to the roof (touching the snow on the roof), an outdoor outlet not GFCI, a bare wire in the attic. The cost was close to the estimate despite some add on jobs. Dan helped in assessing some attic insulation issues, planned ahead for future electrical needs and coordinated with an HVAC team. I would definitely call on this team again and recommend them. I did need to do some cleanup afterward; the garage had a lot of boxes, old fixtures, bits of electrical supplies but I expected some of that.

When I moved to MI 13 years ago I needed an electrician to rewire my old home in SE GR. Dan and his team did the work. They were professional and didn't overcharge me for the work they did and stuck to the quote they provided. After the initial work being completed, I would call on Dan and his company to do the electrical work in my house, like adding another outlet, etc. Fast forward to 2020, when we moved to the next town over, I called Dan and had him rewire and add additional lighting and outlets in another old home. Same concept - professional, on time and always pleasant. When I opened my store front in downtown Grandville, I called Dan and he and his team showed up and completed the work and on deadline. I had a couple of small things I wanted to change before the store opened, and they were there to help. I will always call The Power Company for my electrical needs.

I had a scheduled appointment with the service professor for this morning from 11am - 2pm. When it came around to 1:30pm I called the service professor because i hadn't heard from anyone and they are supposed to provide a 15-30 minute call prior to arrival. I was told they couldn't make it. Some ill employee/s and the gentlemen who was supposed to come to my house went to an appointment and apparently there were safety issues, etc. So..they had to reschedule. I said that was okay as long as they were here tomorrow. She said they couldn't be. Earliest was Wednesday morning and I had the geek squad scheduled to come in and mount my T.V. Wednesday afternoon. I wasn't comfortable with the closeness in scheduling and if something else came up with the professor. I got on Angies list and located Dan. I explained my situation and he said he thought he could help. He was driving and said he would get back to me when his hands were free. He called back within 15 minutes and said he could help. He was to my house very shortly after that. They were very friendly and worked quickly to get the job completed. Couldn't be happier. Thanks So much for helping me out.
